The FAIR Meter module

The FairMeter module is meant to apply automated FAIR assessment tools to those data DOIs that were identified in the previous Data Enrichment steps.
On the long term we envision to include multiple complementary tools. For the short term, we include the F-UJI (opens in a new tab) framework as a first approach to automated evaluation of data with respect to specific aspects of FAIR.

The F-UJI Scorer module

This module addresses an instance of a F-UJI server (opens in a new tab) to evaluate data publications.

For convenience, a complete setup is included in the Docker Compose file docker-compose.yaml.
The usage of an external instance of F-UJI is supported, in addition, with the environment variables FUJI_HOST, FUJI_PORT and FUJI_PROTOCOL. Please find example values for these variables in the file .env.example.

Disclaimer

We recommend careful interpretation of scores derived from the automatized F-UJI framework. These scores can be useful in providing guidance for improving the FAIRness of data and repository infrastructure, respectively, but are limited to selected aspects and, hence, cannot truly assess how FAIR research data really is.
