Migration from version 1.0 to 2.0

Version 2 of the HMC FAIR data dashboard, as detailed on the change logs page, introduces numerous new features, changes to the database schema, and several breaking changes. If you have version 1 installed in your environment, it is recommended to completely uninstall the old version and follow the installation instructions provided in the version 2 documentation. Software versions in the source code of both interdependent projects HMC Toolbox for Data Mining and HMC FAIR Data Dashboard will be aligned throughout the development process to allow compatibility of equal software versions at any stage. Therefore, if you upgrade either one of these sub-projects, please make sure to upgrade the other sub-project as well.
